And here it is: the second part in the Satanisch project of Holland’s finest ritualistic ambient maestro: Wolfsduister! Will this be the end of this project? Who knows. What’s for sure is that there is more of Erghal’s work to come on Okkulth! When and how? Just you wait and see... “Erotisch Satanisch Ritueel was created to form the second part of the Satanisch project. Although this track was first created as a pure ambient soundscape, it later was put in a different erotic form to be... Topics: ambient, Wolfsduister
In the past, both these artists have released work together, thereby also collaborating on a few tracks. Prime examples are the Norss Platen and Schaduw releases Nachtelijk Verbond and Nachtprofeten. However, both felt this was not enough. Hence Zielloze Verbintenis. Wolfsduister and Norss have again chosen to team up for a release, this time in a different shade of darkness. Both artists agreed on the concept of creating a track that is build up entirely of various works from the other,... Topics: ambient, Wolfsduister, Norss
We have been long-time fans of Wolfsduister aka. Erghal and his ritualistic ambient work. So obviously, an Okkulth release just had to happen. And as you can see, this is just the first part! Apart from composing dark rituals, Erghal is also providing vocals for two excellent Dutch black metal bands: Eindig and Nachtvorst. The latter released a demo on Svartgalgh and Wolfsvuur (his own label) simultaneously and Eindig just got a great CD out on Galgenstrang, after making name for themselves... Wolfsduister is back! With a vengeance we might add. This is the third part of his Satanisch project and it will grab you by the throat, like you’ve not been grabbed by Erghal before. The overall sound is harsh, noisy even, beckoning all of you deep into the Wolfsduister Cult. Once again, Erghal proves to be able to tap the various veins of experimental music with remarkable ease. “Part III of the Satanisch releases offers the most occult part of the Luciferian Worshipping. After having... Topics: ambient, noise, Wolfsduister
It was inevitable: Zieltogend and Wolfsduister have teamed up again. Both claim to be influenced by each other, so it was only a matter of time before these two Dutchmen joined forces once more. Zieltogend’s method of action is to remix someone else’s material down to its essential, hypnotic core. And this is exactly what [empty] did: he transformed the Wolfsduister song ‘6’ (from ‘Satanisch Pt.I’) into something possibly more creepy than the original ritual. Erghal on the other... Halfway June 2008, one of the best noise artists from the Netherlands disappeared without a trace: Stirner. To this day, we have no idea what happened to him. Norss contacted us about this. It had been playing on his mind for quite some time and he came up with the idea of honouring Tony’s work in the form of remixes. Neither an obituary, nor a nocturne, but a celebration of Stirner’s work. Hoping that he will hear this at some point. Because Norss and Okkulth Records are positive that... Wolfsduister is unstoppable! And Erghal proves he can do more than his usual ritualistic ambient exercises-in-supremo, cause here he has taken a great stab at creating a dark noise track. The result is quite amazing! Not only because it’s not your usual run-of-the-mill white noise, but also because one can still hear the distinct Wolfsduister signature. Preceding this track is Duct Tape Sadist from Australia. His common nome-de-plume is harsh noise, but he as well has tried on something... Topics: noise, ambient, Duct Tape Sadist, Wolfsduister
